The MZ team has been hard at work, and we are super excited to announce some big upcoming releases that are nearing completion! The engineering and product teams will be taking some much needed time off and will be returning on January 4, 2021 to continue crushing it.
MediaZilla App for iPhone, iPad, and Android Mobile
The MediaZilla App for iPhone, iPad, and Android Mobile is in public beta for free to everyone on the App Store and Play Store. We have already identified a few minor issues that will be fixed in January 2021.
Enjoy buttery-smooth navigation of scenes and buttons with the swipe gesture, no annoying url bar and always full screen.
Export Collections for USB and Offline
You will soon be able to export Collections for offline viewing on Mac and Windows computers. We have been testing this feature with a private beta group and anticipate releasing it to all members in January 2021.
This provides a way to place your project, complete with its menu system, on a portable USB drive to physically deliver to viewers. We still recommend our apps and Digital Delivery for the best client experience and TV viewing. This feature replaces our old legacy USB export feature and improves upon it by creating a more consistent viewing experience without the use of a web browser.
Content Organization
We are also getting ready to release a major update to the interface to further streamline your workflow and improve the intuitiveness of the app. We've gathered lots of feedback over the years on how members want to organize their projects and came up with a great solution to address it.
All videos and collections will now be grouped into projects to better organize your content. You will be able to select multiple items in your dashboard at once for bulk deleting or moving content between projects. Also, you will no longer need to associate videos with collections before creating them. This allows you to get started on a collection while your video is still uploading.
