Multi-User Access and Roles Are Now Available
We are excited to share with you that multi-user access and roles are now available on MediaZilla.
You can now make sure the right people have access to the right projects. This is perfect for when you need to give access to cinematographers, remote editors, or students.
New Users Menu
You can find multi-user access and roles under a new “Users” menu in your account settings.
New MediaZilla User Roles
There are now three unique roles in a company:
- Admin: Full access to everything in the account.
- Manager: Access to everything except company settings.
- Contributor: Access to projects they uploaded or created.

Apple TV App Update
A new update for the MediaZilla app is now available for the Apple TV and brings a number of improvements.
The dashboard interface has been redesigned to improve the experience and match our recently released Android TV and Amazon Fire TV apps. We’ve unified the app’s code with our new platform which has resulted in the dashboard content loading much faster, collection menus now support recently added customization (font size), and a bug causing videos to randomly pause during playback has been resolved.

If your clients are not using the MediaZilla app to view their project, they are missing out on an amazing experience that you could be offering them. Native apps for their streaming devices are more convenient to access and provide a more fluid and engaging experience compared to a web browser. 4K Playback Coming Soon
We have completed our architectural planning and have dialed in our encoding settings for premium quality 4K playback. We will be working on implementing this on the platform this quarter (Q3).
